Membership policy:
Due to North Carolina state law, OCSC must be a private club. As the law goes, we serve spirits without serving food so the following are the guidelines that must be observed regarding our membership policy.
OCSC is open to our members and their guests.
New members must submit a written application for membership along with the membership fee of $10. A membership card will be issued to anyone who submits an application & $10.
Management and employees cannot solicit members to sponsor non-members who arrive at the door or up to the bar.
T.M’s note for the people: in plain english, we are a private club because we have to be. I find it very unfriendly and that’s not my nature or the nature of anyone who works here…but that’s how it has to be in order for us to stay in buisness, so that’s how it is.
I personally make every membership card and i have come accustomed to doing them around the last week of every month.once the cards are ready, they are not mailed, they will be here waiting for you the next time you come to OCSC.
If you were to fill out a memberhsip application on the first of the month, you are offically a member even though you might not have a membership card for a couple of weeks.
